Grilled Bok Choi

Ingredients:

  • 2 baby bok choi

  • 4 tsp sesame oil

  • Sesame seeds

  • Salt to taste

Directions:

Wash bok choi in a large bowl of ice water, setting the bundles in the water for 10 minutes, letting all of the dirt come out from in between the leaves. Remove and cut bundles in half, long ways, exposing heart of plant.

Heat a grill or pan to medium/high heat. Drizzle insides of bok choi with 1 tsp on each side and put directly on grill, facedown.

Grill for 3 minutes, flip, and grill for an additional 3 minutes, or until slightly charred. Finish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and salt.
